Bright and vibrant colors can fade away while washing them in the machine. The simplest ingredient in your kitchen helps in preventing the colors of your dress from fading. Take a spoonful of salt and put it into the machine with the clothes. Simply dry your clothes by hanging them in the air. This way the color will retain. Another simple way of retaining the bright colors is by washing colored clothes inside out.

Toss your wrinkled clothes in the dryer, with few ice cubes, and turn it on. The melting ice cubes will create steams in the dryer, which will remove the wrinkles from the clothes, and make them smooth and wrinkled free. Soak your Gym Clothes in Vinegar

We all know gym clothes smell foul and become untidy after an aggressive gym exercise. The foul and unpleasant odor is not easy to remove and here vinegar turns out to be extremely useful. Before washing your gym clothes, pre-soak them in a tub of warm water with a half cup of vinegar. Leave it for a while, and wash them with water. The vinegar will remove all the unpleasant smells from your clothes and make them wearable again.

Clean your Washing Machine

Washing Machines do not need to be cleaned every single day, and if it is kept uncleaned for a while, excessive foul smell will built-up in it. After some months, add white vinegar and baking soda to your washing machine and set it to the hottest water temperature, and high load setting. Let it spin for a minute and then open the lid of the machine, and let the mixture sit for an hour or so. Scrub the lids and outer parts with a brush and re-start the cycle. Any remaining residual will be removed as well. I also love this product!
